At ebookeditingpro, we know indie authors aren't rich--yet. That's why we strive to give you the best possible edit for the lowest cost. We offer two levels of editing to choose from.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

Proofread Option: $6 per 1,000 words*

Full Copy Edit Option: $8 per 1,000 words*

In the Proofread, your editor will edit your book for grammar, word choice, and consistency. This is our most basic edit, which is reflected in the low price.

In the Full Copy edit, your editor will not only edit for grammar, word choice, and consistency, he or she will also include comments, a comprehensive editor's report, and basic content editing. 

What's the difference? With the Proofread Option, if you've written a book with inconsistent character development, little plotting, and poor writing, you'll get back a grammatically correct version of your book. The Copy Edit is a much more comprehensive edit in which your editor will make suggestions that will make your book even better. (They will not rewrite your book, but make suggestions that you can work with.)

If you've written a 50,000-word book and opt for the Proofread Option, the fee is $300 (6x50=300). If you choose the Full Copy Edit Option, the fee is $400 (8X50=400).

Email us with your word count, genre, and your editing option and we'll get back to you within 24 hours (usually sooner!). We'll send you an invoice and let you know about when your editor will begin editing your book. Or feel free to ask questions about availability. We have several editors on staff, so the wait time is typically less than two weeks! You can also secure your booking with a $50 deposit via PayPal using ebookeditingpro@gmail.com as the email for payment.

BLURB WRITING SERVICE

Having an effective blurb (or book description) can make the difference between someone buying your book or passing it by. Blurb-writing is tougher than you think! If you want us to write your blurb, let us know. We'll write it, tweak it, and work on it until you're satisfied. Blurb writing is an extra $50.

FLAT FEE SECOND EDIT

We don't recommend this for everyone, but if you get your book back and see that "sea of red" you might want to consider our flat fee second edit ($150). Here's the important thing: your second edit will be conducted by a proofreader, giving your book a fresh set of eyes. We only offer a second edit to clients who have used our service for the copy edit. Books of more than 80,000 words, ask for a quote.

Book Cover Design

New service! Give us an idea, your plot, and other information and we'll design a cover for you. If you don't like it, you don't pay (but you will like it!). $200, includes any purchases images for cover, design, and revisions. See examples.

REFUND POLICY

If you send in a deposit or pay in full, you can get a refund up until the date of your booking. If for any reason you are unhappy with your edit, we will work with you until you are 100 percent satisfied. We are partners in your publishing journey and want you to be happy!
